We kicked of the day with Mr D filling in for Robert and Eddie. We thought it was funny that Mr D was telling us what was going to happen for the day. For writing, we were focusing on writing the facts (white hat) and sharing our feelings about what we had done (red hat).
We looked at our final "magic-e" rule using the letter "u". There are not many words that have the "u" sound in them.
After reading we looked at how numbers are made up. We looked at groups of ones, tens and hundred. We had a go at making some numbers. Click on the picture and it will take you to the website.
At the end of the day Mr D was playing something on his guitar. It sounded cool so we thought about writing a song about our class. We came up with some words we thought might go well. We will keep adding to it, then we will record it for everyone.
