02/11/10 What's Going On in BD Class?

It was funny today because we did some instructional writing about how to write instructions. We must be getting really good at it because we knew all the things we needed to write instructions.

This is how we write instructions.

First you need to write about what you will be doing.

Then write a list of the things you need.

Next you write each step in order.

Remember to use linking words like first, next, also, after that, then, finally and last of all.

Also make sure you use action verbs.

At the end you need to wrap up about what you have done.

Finally make sure you check for full stops and capitals.
