We have had a great day today. Every has been working hard and making good choices, even though the weather was a bit yucky.
Today we did some learning about the orchestra. We watched and listened to Benjamin Britten's Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra. We learnt about the different parts and instruments in the orchestra. You can listen to it here:
We learnt that there are 4 teams in the orchestra. They are:
- Strings: You pluck or use a bow
- Woodwind: You blow
- Brass: You do a buzzy blow
- Percussion: You hit it
