For maths this morning, Sam won the game of "Beep". The "Circles" were learning to skip count in tens and hundreds. The "Oblongs were learning to skip-count in tens and ones, forwards and backwards.
For writing today we did a buddy activity where we looked at each other's writing and tried to make sure we had all the right things to make it interesting.
For reading we looked at "ie" and "y" and how they make a long-i sound. There were so many words. We found out that words that end in "y" have "i.e." at the end of them when we add "s" or "d". You can see all our words here.
The "Whales" reading group read "Robots Run Riot." They had to design their own special robot that could help out at home or school.
We now have more of our class who have reached the 25 Nights reading club. well done to Michael, Sam, William, Lokesh and Celestine.
