18/03/14 Today in BD Class

We had lots of fun today when we started the day having lots of fun with the parachute for language experience. We used ping-pong balls and they looked like pop corn jumping on the parachute.

Today's Star of the Day was Danielle.
Tomorrow is Junior Athletics day. It would be great if we could all come dressed in our house colours. These are our houses:

17/03/14 Today in BD Class

Our week got off to a great start. Joshua was our Star of the Day.
We are learning about another "th" sound. This is a kind of whispery sound. You can see lots of words with "th" in them.
Ryan did some great writing today. He got to show his work to Mrs jennings. Well done Ryan.

12/03/14 Today in BD Class

We had another great time with swimming today. It is so good to see everyone making such great progress.
For Discovery Time today we were learning to be curious. We had fun making pukekos come alive using colorApp on the iPads. We were building things with Lego and using the magnifying glasses to look at rocks. Mr D got the Mimio viewer out and we could see rocks up really close. It was lots of fun!

11/03/14 Today in BD Class

We had lots of fun this morning playing with bubble wrap. We jumped on it, squeezed and stamped on it. We got lots of cool words that we could use in our writing. Check out the video of what we were doing.
We got some great writing done too. Boston, Precious and Devon got to show their work to MrsJennings.

10/03/14 Today in BD Class

We have had a great start to the week. We started off with the "Hi-Res" show. We were learning about  including others. "Leave and extra chair" was the message we learnt.



We have been learning about the sounds that "th" make. Today we were practising the "buzzing-th" sound.
