Today in BD Class (29/10/14)

We were honoured to have a visit from Craig Smith, the author of "The Wonkey Donkey." He writes really funny songs and books.

Here are some highlights from the show. Danielle got to be the green, wiggly worm!

We also had our second Ready, Set, Go session.

Week 2 in BD Class (20-24/10/14)

We have had a great week celebrating Book Week. We did buddy reading with our buddy class. We read to them and they read to us.

On Friday we had our dress up day. Check out our awesome costumes.

We also had our very first Get, Set, Go PE session with Tim this week. we were learning all about balancing. We made some alphabet letters, played line tag and had a whole lot of fun.

Week 1 in BD Class (13-17/10/14)

BD Class has made a great start to the term! We have been working hard in class, especially maths. We have been learning to skip count in 2s and 5s. We have also started learning about multiplication. 

On Tuesday we had a cricket skills session. We learnt to field, bowl and bat. Check it out!

This week we have also been learning about the parts of a book. We looked at the parts and why they are in a book.

This Week in BD Class (24/09/14)

We have had another busy last week of the term. We have been doing some great learning with our vowel sounds. We have been learning about the "oo" sounds. One is short and one is long.

Today we had lots of fun with balloons. We hit, caught them and chased them. Check it out.
