Hola from Alex!
Hola BDclass,
This post is coming to you from Barcelona, Spain. I have been here for two days, the weather is very hot and the people here are really friendly. The locals in Barcelona love their football (soccer) and eat lots of seafood.
Keep up the good work on your persuasive writing, I like your ideas about why apples are the best food to eat!
Adiós for now,
Alex :-)

Logan's whack a mole
Tonight I played Whack a mole. I got up to 200 by going in two's. Then I did one's for fun. Then I went on Starfall and I made a gingerbread man. Then I played Earth day. These games are fun. Have a nice weekend.
03/09/10 What's Going on in BD Class?
Well, we are at the end of a very busy week. Today we had a bit of a finishing off day. The rest of the groups finished their 3-D landscapes and we finished of our perspective drawings.
We got through some power writing and did some maths. We are still working on number patterns and counting in twos. It is getting pretty tricky when we get to some bigger numbers. We need to keep remembering the pattern of: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 - 22, 24, 26, 28, 30. You can practise by playing "Whackamole" at this link http://www.ictgames.com/whackAMole/index.html Start at any even number then set the bar at 2. Keep practising and have a great weekend everyone.

02/09/10 What's Going on in BD Class?
It has been a very busy few days in BD Class. Robert and Eddie have been having some technical difficulties this week so we haven't seen much of them. We had a great day with Miss Mahoney yesterday. Today we had Mrs Berney in the morning. After morning tea we did our special Persuasive Writing sample. This afternoon, after Kapa Haka, we learnt about drawing in 3-D. We looked at some interesting pictures that showed things getting smaller in the distance.
Then we had a go at making our own city-scapes out of blocks. We used our photography skills to take photos of our creations. If you look closely you can see them getting smaller in the distance.
They all look pretty cool!
