15/04/14 Today in BD Class

We had an awesome time at the Island Bay Marine Centre. We learnt about all sorts of different sea creatures. We got to explore the rock pools and meet some creatures really up close.

07/04/14 Today in BD Class

It was "Photo Day" today. We started with picking our Star of the Day. Sidney got to take Goliath to the photos which was really cool.

For printing we are learning about how to do the letter "p". It is a bit tricky because it goes below the line. It is one of the family of letters like: "b", "h" and "p".

This afternoon, Mr D asked us the question "What is a Beach?" We drew our answer using KidPix. We are going to be finding more about beaches this week.

01/01/14 Today in BD Class

We had a whole lot of bubbly fun today for language experience. We blew lots of bubbles and made some giant bubbles too. Check out what we got up to.

We think that Mr D was having a bit too much fun!

This afternoon we had buddy time. We are learning the phrases: 

"E his nga ________?" (How many ______?) and "E (number) nga __________" We were trying to count sheep (hopi) in Maori.
