It has been a cool day today. Sam was Star of the Day.
It was a special day for Monique and Ryan because they got certificates at syndicate assembly. They said they felt "good" when they got their certificates. One of letters of the week is "v". We went out and had a look at some vans in the car park. We learnt that when we say "vvvvvvvvv" properly, our lips vibrate.
We did some good writing today. We are focusing on making sure that we leave spaces between words and that we try and say the beginning sounds of words we don't know.
This afternoon we did some maths groups. The Oblongs are learning to make and write "teen" numbers. The Circles are learning about the difference between "teen" and "ty" numbers.
